Introducing The PowerRad Board!

The POWERAD BOARD is a heated and insulated panel which can replace standard size plasterboard where a heating solution is required in a building. POWERAD BOARD incorporates a third party proprietary heating film to provide a simple and efficient radiant heating system for residential and commercial ceiling applications. This product provides a comfortable and low-cost sustainable heating solution with built-in over-heat protection for increased safety.

Specifications

12.5mm & 15mm Thick Version Available

We've made our PowerRad Board the exact same thickness as UK standard 12.5mm & 15mm plasterboard for seamless integration into any ceiling.

Paper Coating

An outside paper coating gives the exact appearance and texture of plasterboard, again this helps blend the material into most ceiling installs, it also has the same adhesion properties as plasterboard and can be skim plastered or painted.

0.5mm Embeded Steel Board

This covers the entire surface of the board and makes up the earthing fire and shock safety mechanism, this ensures protection from electric shock. Should a screw penetrate the board it will trip the electrical circuit, simply remove the screw and fill the hole, the board works safely and exactly as it did before.

Infrared Heating Element

3rd party proprietary heating element, this is what gives our PowerRad Board it's outstanding performance. The composition of this is carbon fibre organic polymers which are environmentally friendly in both creation and disposal.

Insulation

The insulation layer is for retention of heat, it's configuration helps to give our PoweRad Board it's high performance rating.

Composite Skin

Combined with the steel layer, this is what gives our product it's amazing strength and durability. The composite skin is also a very good conductor of heat, forcing residual heat downward into the desired area.
