Do you supply underfloor heating without installation?

Yes, supply only is most of what we do. We size the floor from your dimensions, specify the sheets, circuits and controls, and deliver the equipment with a layout your own floor layer and electrician work from. A Part P electrician makes the final connection, which is a UK legal requirement.

Who can open a trade account?

Installers, electricians, flooring contractors, builders, developers and merchants. A trade account gives trade pricing, priority supply and a named technical contact, and it is the entry point to the PoweRad partner tiers, which add better terms as your volume grows.

Do you publish trade prices?

No, trade pricing is on application through a trade account. Every job is specified before it is priced, because an underfloor system quoted without sizing the floor is guesswork, and volume changes the numbers.

Where do you deliver?

Across the UK and Ireland. PoweRad holds the exclusive UK and Ireland distribution rights for the system, so supply comes from us directly rather than through a chain of resellers.

Can you produce the specification for us?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and we would rather you let us. Send the floor dimensions and the intended covering, and we return the sheet layout, circuit design and controls specification before anything ships. The heating film runs at 160 or 220 W/m² and any circuit is limited to 3,500W, so larger floors are split across circuits, which is specification work, not guesswork.

Can the film go in bathrooms and wet rooms?

Yes, wet areas use a fully waterproofed, overmoulded version of the film with additional waterproofing applied during installation, and the thermostat must be IP54 rated and sited in a dry zone. Tell us the room is a wet area when you send the dimensions and we specify the right variant.

What controls do you supply with it?

Accepted Answer

Every specified system includes thermostats, one per zone, with a floor sensor. Multi-room jobs get per-room control as standard, and for whole-property projects the system integrates with smart control platforms including Loxone for scheduling and zoning across the building.

Question 8

Do you support installers during the fit?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Technical support is available from first fix through commissioning, including the insulation resistance testing the system requires before the floor covering goes down. You are not left alone with a pallet and a wiring diagram.
